Josiberg Trails Mitterbach

The Josiberg Trails are a trail center on the Josefsberg, near Mitterbach am Erlaufsee, with fine, hand-built trails with a total length of around 3.5 km and an uphill trail of 2 km on the Lower Austrian-Styrian border. Georg Biber and the MTB Josefsberg association have shoveled and built trails by hand on the former ski hill. There is a gravel parking lot right at the start, where you can spend the night for a small fee.
All trails on the Josefsberg are natural. The "Rock'n'Roller" is the most difficult one (S3). It has the most rocks and some trickier, steeper sections. Other trails are "Da Ansa" (S2) and "Hillbilly" (S2) as well as "Shorty A+B" (S1-S2).
The trails are aimed at mountain bikers who have already gained some experience on trails or off-road. The neighboring Minibikepark Annaberg is ideal for small children and beginners, approx. 10 min. drive away.
