Vacation home Breitenberg - experience nature in the heart of the Ybbstal Alps
The Breitenberg vacation home, built with great attention to detail, offers an ideal base for a year-round vacation close to nature in the Ybbstal Alps.
It is located on one of the few farms selected by the "Naturschutzhöfe Österreich" initiative - one of only 750 in the whole country. The farm is centrally located between the Ötscher-Hochkar and Königsberg ski and alpine pasture areas in the vacation resort of St. Georgen am Reith.
Four high-quality apartments with solid wood furniture offer comfortable living in an alpine atmosphere. Heating is provided by modern wall and underfloor heating systems, which provide pleasant radiant heat in the cold season.
Free amenities such as WLAN, bed linen, bath and hand towels, toilet paper and parking spaces are available. A bread roll service from the Kronsteiner bakery delivers freshly baked goods directly to the in-house bread roll box every day.
A garden shed, a playground, a barbecue, a drying room, a table tennis table and a washing machine are available for communal use. The Ybbsnaturbad with direct access from the house provides bathing fun. Natural bathing areas along the Ybbs invite you to linger, swim and relax. In the evening, a campfire on the Mehlsand beach provides an atmospheric finale.
The grassland farm is run as a family business and is home to numerous animals such as ducks, chickens, calves, cattle and cats - a real experience, especially for children. The history of the farm can be traced back to 1639 and gives the place additional character and authenticity.
The non-smoking vacation home is also suitable for allergy sufferers and is located directly on the new, 50 km long, flat Ybbstal cycle path - ideal for leisurely cycle tours through the alpine landscape.
The riverbed of the Ybbs also hides fascinating limestones with fossils. With a bit of luck, you can discover special finds that can be cut and polished on site on request - a unique vacation souvenir from the untouched nature of the Upper Ybbs Valley.
