Ofenloch

The Ofenloch is a natural monument and begins approx. 2 km south of Gstadt at the Riess power station up to the Hornleiten bridge. Originally there was no road at all in the romantic gorge, the rocks had to be blasted away. The railroad was the only connection. In the Ofenloch you have a fantastic view of the Ybbs, but access is only possible in some places as the river has its "wildest" part here.
