Sleighing at Ötscherwiese

The Ötscherwiese in the district of the same name in Lackenhof am Ötscher is a popular winter meeting point for families and winter lovers.

In addition to the cross-country skiing center, there is also a spacious toboggan meadow for fun runs.

The gently sloping meadow stretches right up to the edge of the forest and is regularly groomed by the cross-country ski equipment. This creates ideal conditions for a lively toboggan run for young and old. Away from this, the extensive terrain offers plenty of space for romping around, snow-stomping and playing in the snow.

A special bonus: at weekends and during the vacations, the toboggan run is floodlit until 20:00 - winter fun even in the evening.

Use of the toboggan run is free of charge and there are toilet facilities in the immediate vicinity. Toboggans, plate bobs and Zipfelbobs can be rented directly on site at Sport 2000 or Intersport Ötscher in Lackenhof.

If there is enough snow, the Ötscherwiese is open from December to the end of March and offers carefree winter fun in the middle of the impressive Ötscher landscape. ❄️��
