Short idyllic circular route for body, mind, and palate.
Description
The starting point is the impressive Benedictine Abbey Seitenstetten, which has been the cultural heart of the region since the 12th century. From here the path heads east past the mini golf course – a welcome opportunity for a small playful break.
Soon you reach the community center. A detour to the St. Veit cemetery church is worthwhile: with its founding the first documented mention of Seitenstetten was also recorded. A place rich in history that invites you to pause.
Return goes to the fire station. From there continue past the music center and the tennis courts to the small traffic island, where you turn right. After about 500 meters the path branches right again, goes over a small hill, and finally brings you back to the starting point at the abbey.
The route is easily walkable and is ideal for a short stroll – also with children – or a short break in between.
