Route description Most walking trail

From Weistrach, head up to Bergerhöhe, continue to Kellau, passing the riding stables. Then walk over Schwaiger. The Empress Elisabeth lookout is worth a short stop before you either refresh yourself at Plattenwirt or hike back to Weistrach via Goldberg.

There is also an alternative way to walk this route:

Start at the Most tavern Haider. From there, continue to Most walking trail 350 and to the Empress Elisabeth lookout. Now follow route no. 354 to Magerer and over Stockerkogel. Here, a ca. 10-minute detour to the summit cross with the summit book is worthwhile. Without route numbering, continue on the MTB-signposted trail via the path over Seidl downhill back to the Most tavern Haider.

Author's tip

For refreshment, there are hearty delicacies and robust apple-pear cider in many inns and at the typical cider taverns with their pretty square farms.

On the last Sunday in April, the traditional and regionally renowned Weistrach Cider Fair is celebrated annually to mark the Most Spring festival.
