Details for: Radeln for Family - Göstling an der Ybbs, Route 2 to Lunzer Lake

Brief description

A bike route to a boat trip? Cycling to the bathing lake? You can experience both and much more on this route to the only natural lake in Lower Austria. Cooling off guaranteed!

Description

From Göstling, you cycle comfortably on the Ybbstal cycle path to Lunz am See. In town, plenty of places and treasures await to be discovered, especially the House of the Wilderness with its large playground in front. It goes slightly uphill to Lunzer Lake, where a boat rental, a beach bath, a delicious ice cream, or simply enjoying nature await, and lots of fun is guaranteed on and in the lake.

Very diligent ones can also embark on a discovery trail around the lake (on foot!) - "find Lunzi!" - a great puzzle rally with many exciting and fun facts about water, forest, flora, and fauna.

The return trip leads downstream again via the Ybbstal cycle path back to the starting point in Göstling.
