Brief description

Winter hiking around the Leckermoos raised bog on the Hochreit plateau near Göstling an der Ybbs.

Description

Beautiful circular route in the middle of the nature reserve in an idyllic and very quiet location high above Göstling an der Ybbs. Cross-country skiers and winter hikers share the path, which also includes eleven educational stations about the raised bog and the Dürrenstein-Lassingtal wilderness area.

Directions

About 8 km from 3345 Göstling an der Ybbs to the end of Hochreit Street. Follow the signs to Leckermoos. The street is narrow with passing bays and has up to 15% incline -> possibly chain requirement.
