Wochenmarkt Amstetten

On Thursdays and Saturdays, the pedestrian zone on the main square in the center of Amstetten becomes a colorful world of delicacies. The weekly market has a long tradition in the town, it has been around since 1579. Whether it's a jar of organic honey, a bouquet of fresh flowers, sheep's wool socks or violet ointment, here everyone can find fresh food and lots of little things to make them happy. Not only the stalls, but also the surrounding cafés on the main square are bustling on market days.
