The quiet and sunny location of our farm with a large natural garden and wonderful meadows for relaxing and playing away from the main road is ideal for getting away from it all.

Kirnberg is located in the middle of the Mostviertel, at an altitude of 345m, about an hour's drive from Vienna or Linz.

Young and old alike enjoy the luxury of having lush green meadows, fresh air and forests inviting for walks right on the doorstep. We particularly recommend a hike to our local mountain, the Hochsteinberg, where you can enjoy a refreshment stop at the Almhaus after an easy one-hour hike with a panoramic view.

Immerse yourself in the wonders of nature! When was the last time you saw a butterfly? Have you ever been woken up by birdsong? At what time of year can you hear the cuckoo? Leave your cell phone in your room, forget the TV program and enjoy the impressions and wonderful moments with us.

The best way to experience the beauty of the Mostviertel region is on excursions to one of the countless destinations that you can reach from us in a short time by car, such as the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park, the Iron Road, the Pielach Valley, the district capital Melk, the provincial capital St. Pölten or the Wachau, to name just a few examples.

On our farm there are animals to pet, such as cats and rabbits. There are also other animals to see, such as pigs (only in the winter months), ducks and chickens.

For children we offer not only a sandpit, various ball games, small children's vehicles in the enclosed courtyard, but also the imaginative, discoverable and impressive play area, nature.

In the evening, after a relaxing or discovery-filled day, we will be happy to spoil you with our lovingly prepared dishes, with home-made and regional ingredients, perhaps with a barbecue, or you can end the day with a glass of Cider or a glass of house brandy and a wonderful sunset.
