Viewing platform at the Scheibbs Ceramics Museum
A new viewing platform was created on the site of the old wooden bridge as part of the new power plant construction, offering a fantastic view of the Erlauf gorge, new bridge and power plant.
EVN Brandstatt hydropower plant
The use of hydropower in Scheibbs goes back several hundred years. After the installation of the first turbine in 1911 and the acquisition of the hydropower plant by EVN Naturkraft in 2012, the modernized Brandstatt hydropower plant was finally put into operation at the end of 2021.

New Heuberg Bridge
As part of the modernization of the historic Brandstatt hydropower plant, the municipality of Scheibbs carried out a new construction of the Heuberg Bridge. The old, outdated wooden bridge was replaced by a modern and architecturally appealing new bridge in a new location.
