Description
The lone tree is a popular destination for long walks among the people of Scheibbs. The full meaning of the term becomes clear to visitors when they look at the hill on which the tree stands, south of Scheibbs - a giant standing alone on a ridge with a sweeping crown, framed only by the horizon.
An approx. 2-hour round trip leads from Scheibbs to the lone tree. The Scheibbser Höhenrundwanderweg also leads past this striking spot.
