Römerbrücke bei Lanzing

Description

In this idyllically peaceful location, visitors can follow in the footsteps of antiquity. Presumably built in the 3rd or 4th century AD, the Roman bridge near Lanzing in the Dunkelsteinerwald is an important relic from this period. For hikers, the bridge is easily accessible from hiking trails that start directly from Mauer or Gerolding.

Tip: The connecting trail V2 of the Dunkelsteinerwald circuit leads past the Roman bridge.
