For beginners and expert athletes

Seven professionally groomed cross-country ski tracks provide cross-country skiing pleasure for all levels of proficiency. The spectrum ranges from the beginner-friendly Silbergruben track groomed for classic style to the Muckenhöhe track for advanced skiers up to the 5.6 km long Wastl skating track, a challenging training course for skaters. The Berghaus Turmkogel inn is perfect for a little break – it also is the starting and finishing point of all cross-country ski tracks.

A small winter sports centre

Your cross-country skis are not gliding properly, or you forgot your poles at home? No problem at all. Right next to the central track entrance at Mt. Turmkogel, ski rental Jagersberger has skis for both alpine and cross-country skiing, snowshoes, bobsleighs and toboggans for rent. Here, you can also find a small family ski resort with natural snow complete with drag lift, beginners’ lift and children's area.
