Annaberger Haus

Lodge / hut

Description

If you want to admire Annaberg and the surrounding area from above, hike up the Tirolerkogel (1,377 m). The Annaberger Haus welcomes you here. As the Alpine Club shelter is open all year round, the Tirolerkogel is also particularly popular with ski tourers.

The fantastic view of the high Alps rewards you for the 1 ½-hour climb. The Schneeberg can be admired from here, as can the Hochschwab or the Gesäuse mountains. Not forgetting, of course, the Ötscher, which gives the region its name. The kitchen of the Annaberger Haus spoils its guests with down-to-earth home cooking, and 42 beds are available for overnight stays.

Hiking tip: Annaberg - Tirolerkogel - Eibl - Türnitz

Winter tip: The Annaberger Haus on the Tirolerkogel is also a popular destination in winter and can be reached after a 2-hour winter hike. Toboggan hire is also available - but advance booking is recommended. More details about the winter hike to the Tirolerkogel!
