Description

The ingredients in the kitchen at Gasthaus Pillgrab tell a story. The Pillgrab family's credo is to preserve and value tradition and combine it with innovative influences. An inn that knows how to play with contrasts like no other. Heidi and Hans Pillgrab, who shaped the business in St. Valentin, provided a promising foundation. Their knowledge and expertise continue to flow into the business. Their son Wolfgang has now taken over the reins in the kitchen. In addition to his obvious cooking talent, it is his musical background that is omnipresent in the inn. The kitchen is rocking and creativity is given free rein. In addition to traditional Mostviertel cuisine, the crayfish soup, crayfish ravioli and dishes with succulent Wagyu beef are among the favorites on the menu.

More than just an inn

A family business through and through. Heidi Pillgrab's homemade cakes and pastries underline this. The tiled stove, the colorful Tiffany windows and the light wooden lambrequins create a tasteful interior. A cozy courtyard garden invites you to linger in the summer months. The star of the restaurant, however, remains the prepared dish. Those who want to watch the top chef closely can book individual cooking courses. The REX preserving jars promise moments of indulgence in the comfort of your own home. By the way: Gasthaus Pillgrab is also a comfortable place to spend the night.
