Gasthof „Zum Niederhaus“
Tavern / innThis business is excellent…
Description
Gerhard Perthold's uncomplicated cuisine in St. Aegyd am Neuwalde has esprit. The landlord of the "Zum Niederhaus" inn, which is located not far from the Traisen and directly on the Via Sacra, succeeds in giving simple inn classics a modern twist with striking consistency. The fish comes fresh from the tributary of the Danube. The fried mountain trout with parsley potatoes, brown butter and leaf salad is a house specialty. The liver sausage, made according to grandfather's recipe, also plays an important role on the menu. It is accompanied by roast potatoes and sauerkraut. The homemade dumpling specialties are intended for the big appetite. In the rustic restaurant, guests can choose from sausage, meat, grammel and farmer's dumplings. The wine and beer list is small and fine.

The ballroom is generously proportioned and can seat over 200 people. The pub garden is popular in summer. Surrounded by old chestnut trees, guests can enjoy nature to the full.
