The stage starts at the fire brigade panorama board in Krummnussbaum and leads through the village. Then it continues on the asphalt road Krummnussbaum – Holzern to the Renner inn. At Maria Steinbründl, there is a small pilgrimage chapel that can be visited. The path then leads over the Eichberg to Sarling with the possibility to stop at the Donauhafen inn. The stage continues along the Danube on bike paths, with some traffic, to the main square in Ybbs. The renovated old town center with its romantic courtyards, alleys, and townhouses is a special highlight. Then it goes a bit upstream past the oldest Danube power plant Ybbs-Persenbeug. Visitors gain exciting insights into how energy generation through hydropower works. On the bike path over the Danube bridge, it goes to Persenbeug to the Danube shore, where the stage ends.
