Během několika minut se můžete vydat na kole z ruchu města podél řeky Traisen do klidné přírody v okolí St.Pöltenu. Prvních několik rovinatých kilometrů podél řeky je ideálních k tomu, abyste se na kole začetli a zapomněli na každodenní život. Po Herzogenburgu - návštěva opatství stojí za to! - se jede po šotolině po úzkých venkovských cestách - zčásti asfaltových, zčásti šotolinových - přes vinice v Traisentalu. Zámky Sitzenberg-Reidling a Traismauer nabízejí kulturu, zatímco úsek přes Ahrenberger sklepní uličky mezi nimi vzbuzuje očekávání návštěvy vinného hostince.

Přes horu Paraplui (název mluví za vše -> deštník (výhled!) a vinice Nussdorf ob Traisen a Inzersdorf ob Traisen vás čeká také několik výškových metrů, než se přes Herzogenburg opět dostanete na Cyklostezku Traisental-Radweg a pohodlně dojedete do St. Pöltenu. Než dojedete do centra města, stojí za to se vykoupat v chladivých vodách jezera Ratzersdorf.

From the main station, follow the signs toward the Traisen (valley bike path), which is reached after about 1 km. Just a few meters next to the river, it goes flat until Herzogenburg, where you later leave the bike path toward St. Andrä ob der Traisen. From St. Andrä, follow the MTB trekking route "Venusberg-Tour" - it leads over Sitzenberg-Reidling and the Ahrenberger cellar lane to Traismauer. Then head a bit south again on the Traisental bike path to Oberndorf - turn right there to the other side of the S33 to Reichersdorf (against the signage for the "Water to Wine-Tour").

Then follows a climb to Paraplui Mountain with a beautiful view and a short but quite steep descent (CAUTION!!!) down to Nussdorf ob der Traisen. Contrary to the signage of the "Paraplui-Tour" and later the "Water to Wine-Tour," it goes through the vineyards to Inzersdorf ob der Traisen, past Walpersdorf Castle, and over Ederding back to Herzogenburg. The climbs are easy to ride but not to underestimate - gravel and asphalt alternate on narrow field paths.

Please observe the Biker Fair Play rules including the official usage times of the MTB and gravel routes. Beware of oncoming bikers when the route runs opposite to the signage direction of the respective MTB trekking tour.
