Route description Eco-Village route

 From the Main Square (municipal office), head toward the junction of Hauptstraße/Sonnleiten. Turn left onto Sonnleiten and follow the road - passing the beach volleyball courts and the tennis court.

Then turn left over the bridge, then right, continue about 1.3 km into Sonnleitgraben to the Innerbach bridge – turn right. Continue over Kaiserberg to Kaiserkogel. Here there is the possibility for a stop or overnight stay. The route leads down the mountain to the Weissenböck (Hagelbauer) property, along the hiking trail toward Plambachstraße – turn right and continue along the state road to Steubach.

In Steubach turn left and follow the L 107 to Rotheau. Cross the B20 and over the bridge to the cycle path. Turn right toward Traisen. At Traisen Markt station turn right over the bridge to Mariazeller Bundesstraße. Turn right and then left into Kirchengasse. Follow Kirchengasse, at the junction turn right into Reisenbergsiedlung – then left along the hiking trail toward Tiefental up the mountain. At the end of the trail, watch for the junctions and descend to Inzenreithstraße, which leads back to Eschenau to the starting point.
