Details for: Romantic Route Mariazeller Land
Brief description
The Romantic Route Mariazeller Land leads us past clear lakes and deep forests, high mountains, and rushing streams. The Mariazeller Land in all its beauty.
Description
The beautiful trekking route to explore the Mariazeller Land starts at the village square in Mitterbach. After a short warm-up phase, you ascend the Schindelsattel after just a few kilometers and then race down into the Walstern. Coming from the Walstern, the tour continues towards Halltal into the romantic Mooshuben. A forest road then leads downhill a bit faster towards Gußwerk. Directly in the town center of Gußwerk, leave the federal road towards Tribein. Here, pedal hard once again before continuing in fast curves from the Köckensattel further to Rasing. On a round trip through the Mariazeller Land, Mariazell must not be missed, so the route continues from Rasing directly to the famous pilgrimage town. As the final stage destination, you ride from Mariazell along the road and then the bike path to the crystal-clear Erlaufsee and the last few kilometers back to Mitterbach.
