Description

The Ebenwaldhütte is located on the Ebenwaldhöhe of the same name at 1,046 m above sea level, in the middle of the scenic hiking and touring area of the Gutenstein Alps. The cozy hut is an ideal place to stop for all tourers and hikers around Hochstaff (1,305 m) and the Reisalpe (1,399 m). The culinary highlight is the fabulously good giant dumplings.

In addition to sumptuous meals, the Ebenwaldhütte also offers overnight accommodation. There are 20 beds and a mattress dormitory available. From Kleinzell, a paved road leads in the direction of Ebenwald, which is reached after 7 km at a large parking lot. From here, the hut can be reached in around 15 minutes. Alternatively, it is also possible to drive up to the hut.
