The Wieland Lumberjack Cabins are located in the former Isbary lumberjack settlement of Haslaurotte, on the edge of the Einsamkeit, next to the stream, and are available from May through October. A small bridge leads to the spacious fire pit. The nearby Pielachtalbad offers a refreshing way to cool off.
The lodge consists of the main house, which is approximately 55 m², and the Kellerstöckl, which is approximately 15 m². Where three lumberjack families once lived, up to 6 people can now stay overnight.
The self-catering cabin features a spacious living area with a wood-burning stove, seating, and a double bed. The kitchen is equipped with a sink, a refrigerator, and stovetop burners. Original woodcutter’s furniture serves as the dining table. There is also a bunk bed for 2 children. Adjacent to the kitchen is a small bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet. The Stöckl has two single beds.
The hut does not have Wi-Fi, but it has good cell phone reception!
It’s located in the same valley as Haus Haslaurotte and the Cottage by the Pond and can be booked in combination with them.
