Golfclub St. Pölten - Schloss Goldegg

Golf

Description

The St. Pölten-Goldegg course, built in 1988, was taken over by the GC 2000 Group in 2006 and transformed into a state-of-the-art 27-hole golf course. Since 2012, the course and both clubs have been part of the Murhof Group.

The showpiece and home course of the Lower Austrian GC St. Pölten is the beautifully situated 18-hole, par 71 Park Course, which offers fantastic views of the Alpine foothills and some of its fairways are located in the idyllic castle park. The course was officially opened in 2008. It is also perfectly conquerable for golf beginners, but requires all the skills of advanced players in particular.

Just as perfect as the course with its well-kept bunkers, extensive fairway irrigation and large greens are the partially covered driving range with real target greens, spacious club rooms and the cozy "Castello" restaurant with its historic castle vaults and fantastic sun terrace.
