Wallfahrtskirche St. Gotthard

Church

Description

The church was built in the late Gothic style around 1460 thanks to donations and rich offerings from pilgrims. It is also known as the "Golden Church" due to its rich ornamentation. The pilgrims came for the healing water from the "holy well". Healing wounds and cures for eye ailments made St. Gotthard a well-known place of pilgrimage.
