Kirnberg
The municipality of Kirnberg an der Mank in the district of Melk invites you to take a magical break on the farm, in the countryside and on the alpine pasture: with family-friendly accommodation, friendly restaurants and peaceful cycling and hiking trails. In ancient times, the area belonged to the province of Noricum. The village was first mentioned in documents in the 12th century. Historical sights in Kirnberg an der Mank
The entire landscape is characterized by valuable buildings from bygone days: the Catholic parish church of St. Pancratius and the adjacent castle with vicarage as well as an old granary are particularly worth seeing. In Furth, historic canal bridges and an aqueduct from 1910 can still be admired today. These were opened at the time as part of the second Kaiser-Franz-Josef high spring pipeline.
