St. Pantaleon-Erla

The quiet resort of St. Pantaleon-Erla is surrounded by idyllic alluvial forest in the north-western Mostviertel directly on the Danube. The four districts of Pyburg, St. Pantaleon, Erla and Klein Erla are located directly in the Enns-Donauwinkel and are easy to reach via the A1 exit St. Valentin. Worth seeing are the parish church of St. Pantaleon with its neo-Gothic high altar (1470) and Romanesque crypt from the 12th century and Erla Castle with the parish church of Erla from the 11th century.

NEW: Cycle bridge to the Mostviertel

Cyclists on the Danube cycle path can cross the Enns Canal safely over this bridge. With a span of 90 meters on two pile foundations, the three-span trough timber bridge over the Enns Canal is a special attraction.
Its imposing appearance is the gateway to the Mostviertel.
