Hiking with Alpacas
Come take a stroll with us and our alpacas through the beautiful Texing Valley!
As you take a leisurely walk in the fresh air through the rolling hills of the Mostviertel region, accompanied by the calm presence of the alpacas, you’ll forget the stress of everyday life and slow down the pace of time. Enjoy the magnificent views of Texing, St. Gotthard, and Plankenstein,
Alpacas are very intelligent and sensitive animals that can adapt to their guide’s mood. They are very curious, but as animals that keep their distance, they also clearly show their boundaries.
The alpaca hike is suitable for the whole family.
Group sizes of 2–10 people are possible.
Currently, 5 animals are available for the hike; as herd animals, they all enjoy coming along. Minimum booking: 2 animals.
After the hike, you can browse our farm store, where you can purchase products made from the “fleece of the gods”—as the fine alpaca fiber is often called.
Another special highlight is our alpaca picnic, where you can enjoy regional delicacies from Texing and the surrounding area right at the alpaca pasture after the hike.
