A place of remembrance and understanding
The exhibition "Codename: Spielwarenfabrik" sheds light on the little-known chapter of the St. Valentin subcamp and forced labor camp. It shows the origins of the Nibelungenwerk, the living conditions of the forced laborers, the psychological and physical stress and the effects on the region.
Original exhibits, eyewitness accounts, historical photographs and a model of the factory make the history tangible.
