The Austrian Fishing Association manages the Erlauf River between Trübenbach and approximately 3 km downstream from the Schindlhütte.
The fishing district is 12 km long and 12 to 18 m wide. The fish population of the Upper Erlauf consists of brown trout, rainbow trout, and grayling. The permitted fishing gear is a fly rod with an artificial fly.
Possession of an official fishing license or guest permit for the state of Lower Austria is mandatory!
