Since 1993, this family-run business has been dedicated to breeding and marketing Scottish Highland cattle. In the summer, the animals feed exclusively on fresh forage in the pastures, and in the winter they are fed hay and silage from the farm’s own meadows. They receive no concentrated feed, and the calves remain with their mothers until they are about 10 months old.
The Highland cattle are slaughtered at 24 to 36 months of age, and the meat is then aged for about 21 days, allowing its excellent flavor to develop. The organic management of our pastures and fields, the year-round, extensive free-range rearing of the animals, and the intensive care of the herd are what set our high-quality breeding stock and the products derived from them apart.
