The versatile Lackenhof-Ötscher ski resort offers exquisite skiing fun between 810 and 1,437 metres above sea level. Eight lifts cover a total of 19 kilometres of slopes that offer the perfect challenges for all levels: For those who love perfect carving turns, the tried and tested Snowboard World Cup slope „Distelpiste“ (slope no. 3/4) is the place to be. Steep and challenging are the steep slopes on the Großer Ötscher (slope no. 1) and on the Kleiner Ötscher (slope no. 5).
But also families can expect inexpensive winter sports fun when skiing on Mt. Ötscher: Once you arrive at the „Sunny Kids Park“ with magic carpet lifts and childcare, the little „snow bunnies“ won't want to go home at all anymore. The gentle family ski run (slope no. 8) is perfectly suited for practicing everything you have learned already. Kids (born in 2007 or younger and accompanied by a parent) can frolic about on their skis with the Kids Card.

Winter hiking and cross-country skiing in Lackenhof
For all non-skiers, the valley enclosing Lackenhof is perfect for idyllic winter hikes – there are a total of 12 kilometres of hiking trails and two signposted snowshoeing tours. Passionate cross-country skiers await 30 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski tracks in three levels of difficulty. Fun with animals in magical snow landscapes await you when going on a winter hike with the gentle Mt. Ötscher llamas.
