Cycle tour via Erlaufsee and Grünau back to Mariazell
The Grünaurunde is an easy and varied cycle tour around Mariazell. From the town center, the route first leads towards St. Sebastian and on to the picturesque Erlaufsee lake, whose clear waters and alpine backdrop invite you to take a break. The route then runs through the tranquil Grünau with its rural cultural landscape, small hamlets and forest sections. Views of the surrounding mountains of Mariazellerland open up again and again.
Most of the route runs along well-maintained cycle paths and short sections of road, making it ideal for leisure cyclists and families. Refreshment stops and nature experiences are close together, making the route particularly varied. The combination of lake, forest and rural idyll makes the tour a relaxed ride with a high experience value around the pilgrimage site of Mariazell.
Runs partly along federal and state highways.
