A tour of the market that introduces you to the history and foundations of prosperity. The history of the individual objects is explained on display boards.
The pure walking time is approx. 45 minutes - depending on your interests, we recommend planning 1.5 to 2 hours for the visit to the theme trail.
From the washhouse to the Marktbrücke, then along Feichsenstraße to the Wehrturm, through the “Feichsengasserl” along the city wall, continuing to the Hochgericht, and back via the Schlosstor to the Jägerhaus. Turn left over the Schaffgotsch Bridge, past the Erlauftalbad and the last remaining Heidehaus. Cross Hochrießer Street (Brückenkreuz) to Jubiläum Street—Aigner Schmiede (Egon Schiele). Turn right onto Kirchenstraße—Benefizium—Pranger—Kirchenplatz—parish church. Continue to the Kösterhaus via Zehetgruberplatz, pass the Raß’sche Schulstiftung on the left, and on to the museum in the Ledererhaus.
