Route description
“Tut gut – Wanderwirt Gasthaus Mahrer” Train Station (372 m) – Friedenstraße – Schlossstraße – continue along the forest trail above the Soistal Valley – Hinterleiten – Unterramsau – high-altitude hike through the Hauswald (for experienced hikers) – Kirchberg Viewpoint – Poldlwarte (576 m) – descent to Hauswiese – Hauswaldstraße – Turmweg – Schlosshof – Poststraße – starting point

Getting there
On the B39 toward Mariazell, we turn left in Kirchberg an der Pielach, following the "Bahnhof" sign. The train station is located here.
Public transport
We recommend taking the Mariazellerbahn, since the starting point is the Kirchberg train station. Take the Mariazellerbahn from St. Pölten to Mariazell and get off at the "Kirchberg an der Pielach" stop.
