Tour Starting from Turn-off from the Erlauf Cross-Country Ski Trail at Mitterbach
The approximately 1 km long trail leads cross-country skiers from the Erlaufloipe in Mitterbach to the WM trail in St. Sebastian.
The approximately 1 km long trail leads cross-country skiers from the Erlaufloipe in Mitterbach to the WM trail in St. Sebastian.
The 1 km long trail connects the Erlauf trail with the World Championship trail in St. Sebastian (total length 10 km).
You can rent a complete set of cross-country skiing equipment (cross-country skis, boots, and poles) at the Gemeindealpe ski rental shop, located right at the valley station of the Mitterbach Mountain Railways.

Parking is available at the Gemeindealpe Mitterbach
. Alternatively, there is also parking available right in town.
The Mariazellerbahn, with its modern “Stairway to Heaven” trains, takes you from St. Pölten to Mitterbach. The starting point of the Erlauf cross-country ski trail, which connects to the main trail, is just a few minutes’ walk from the Mitterbach am Erlaufsee train station.
