Waldandacht-Wanderweg nach Reidling

From the Schmid Inn (Sitzenberg), a YELLOW-WHITE trail marker leads to the right along the pond promenade; before the fire station, turn left onto the fitness trail, cross the street, and enter the floodplain. Walk through the floodplain to Eggendorf, then turn left onto the fitness trail, cross the street, and enter the floodplain again. Continue through the floodplain to Eggendorf, then turn left and follow the paved road for about 400 meters. Now turn right and head uphill to the Waldandacht (where you can make a donation for people with leprosy). Continue to the left and downhill to Waldandachtgasse; follow the edge of the forest to Rossgraben, then turn right to the main road. Then turn left onto Herzogenburgerstrasse; turn right on this street toward the pond, and follow the right bank of the pond back to Sitzenberg.

There are plenty of parking spaces available at the starting point.

Coming from Salzburg, take the A1 toward Vienna/Linz. At the St. Pölten interchange, keep right and continue on the S33 toward Krems/St. Pölten-Ost.
Then drive through Herzogenburg and Traismauer to Sitzenberg-Reidling.
