Weißenbach or Furth – Furth/Schromenau – Steinwandgraben – Muggendorf/Thal – Unterberg – Rohr im Gebirge

Along the valley, the route goes to Furth/Schromenau (01:30 h). Here further path division – direct route through the Further and Staffgraben, steeply up to the Kieneck with the Gentian Hut (04:00 h) and to the Unterberg House (02:45 h). Easier is the suggested hike into the Steinwandgraben to Thal in Muggendorf and along the Myra stream to the Unterberg parking lot. From now on, steeply uphill on the Alpine rock to the shelter (SH) Unterberg House (Schromenau – Unterberg 07:00 h). From the shelter to the pilgrimage church Maria Einsiedl and then take the Alpine trail to Rohr im Gebirge. This leads steeply downhill on a forest path to the former Gries inn and from there flat on an asphalt road to Rohr im Gebirge (03:15 h).

South Motorway A2 towards Linz – continue on Vienna Outer Ring Motorway A21 towards Linz/St. Pölten – exit Mayerling towards Alland – continue on Mödlinger Straße B11 towards Alland to Weissenbach an der Triesting.
