Description

The hut of the Amstetten AV section, which is also easily accessible with baby carriages, is located near the Hirschkogel and not far from the border between Upper and Lower Austria. The mountain hut is 50 years old and is ideal for hikes in summer, while guests are treated to traditional home cooking at 922 m: hut manager "Sherpa" is known for his dumpling specialties and delicious roast pork.

The Amstettner Huts offers 30 beds for seminar and overnight guests. In winter, the hut is a popular destination for ski tourers and skiers in the Forsteralm ski area.

Opening hours: April 29 to October 26 (Thursday to Sunday & public holidays), in winter when the ski area is open
