Description

The wooded, 1,372 meter high Türnitzer Höger is a popular hiking and ski touring mountain in the Türnitzer Alps.

Mostviertel, municipality of Türnitz, Türnitzer Alps.

Three huts invite you to take a break on the way to the Türnitzer Höger. Close to the summit is the Türnitzer Hütte (1,372 m), south of the Paulmauer the Zdarsky-Hütte (1,082 m) and between Stadlberg and Linsberg the Gschwendthütte (1,078 m). The Höger can be climbed from all three valley villages on different routes; along the ridge there is a continuous high-altitude trail.
