Oed-Öhling

The market town of Oed-Öhling was created in 1972 by merging the market town of Oed and the municipality of Oehling and is located on the Moststraße, in the north of the Mostviertel. The 1062-hectare market town is surrounded by particularly charming and impressive square farms and beautiful rows of fruit trees.

The two villages of Oed and Öhling are ancient settlement areas; together they were mentioned in documents as early as 1140. Due to its special location, the municipality has two municipal offices, elementary school and kindergartens. Predominantly agricultural, Oed-Öhling is also a popular residential area for the Amstetten region.
