Collected herbal knowledge according to European tradition
Ancient, traditional herbal and medicinal knowledge is collected, presented and passed on in this newly designed facility in the middle of a natural alluvial forest. This revitalizes a piece of cultural heritage and makes it accessible to the public. The variety of activities on offer makes it an experience for all the senses for all generations.
The TEH® herb show garden (Traditional European Herbal Medicine) is divided into 9 themed gardens: calming, aromatic, cold, women's, skin, Hildegard von Bingen, Paracelsus, digestive and wild herb gardens, as well as a child-friendly herb section. Natural stone paths connect the gardens and guide visitors to the different areas.
Herb walks, cooking courses, special children's courses, the healing power of trees, etc. are just some of the many activities on offer.
