The fitness trail on the Wachtberg is a circular route, partly asphalted and partly on a meadow path, with a length of 1.9 km.
No special equipment required
The fitness trail starts at the Gasthaus am Wachtberg. Right within the town limits, a road branches off to the left, leading to the farmhouse “Eder am Wachtberg.” In front of the farmhouse, the running route branches off to the right along a meadow path. Once you reach the B42, the loop trail leads along a residential road to the roundabout and back through the village entrance to the town center. And now, on to the second lap!

Via Federal Highway 42 (12.6 km from the Haag highway on-ramp).
Public bus service to Behamberg
After several laps around the Wachtberg, it’s nice to stop by the Gasthaus am Wachtberg for a bite to eat. You can recharge your energy in the outdoor dining area under the shade of the chestnut trees.
