Description
The historic walls of the Gaming Charterhouse are home to an in-house brewery, where the "Kartausenbräu" is brewed, as well as the "Kartausenkeller" restaurant.
The restaurant is open daily all year round. The Johannastüberl, winter garden and vaulted cellar can seat around 180 people. In the summer months, the guest garden is also a great place to relax.
In the menu, tradition meets modernity - creative food combinations as well as numerous vegetarian and vegan alternatives are available. Special monthly offers and themed weeks round off the menu.
Guests can try different varieties of the home-brewed "Kartausenbräu" (light, dark and a seasonal beer) as well as BIER/NEN Radler, Bockbier, Weihnachtsbock, Chili-Bier or Dinkelweizen-Bier. The home-brewed beverages are the perfect accompaniment to the delicious dishes from the Kartausenkeller kitchen.
