Experience the wilderness up close!
The Buchenberg Wildlife Experience delights visitors with an extraordinary variety of animals and activities. Here, “newcomers” such as raccoons and raccoon dogs meet “returnees” such as lynx, wolves, and wildcats. Around ten different species of owls can also be observed in habitats designed to mimic nature. A spacious farm area offers additional insights into the local wildlife.
Guided tours ensure exciting encounters: During “Raccoons, Clever Little Rascals” or a donkey hike, animal behavior and habitats are presented in an entertaining way. For the active visitor, two 3D archery courses with a total of about 50 stations offer a special recreational experience in the heart of nature.
An unforgettable highlight: a “Night at the Zoo” in the stylish Zoo Chalet or the cozy treehouse—combined with a candlelit dinner and guided tour upon request.
