Every Tuesday and Friday, from 7.00 am to 12.00 pm, the Upper Town Square is transformed into a lively hub for regional produce and culinary delights. Fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and sausages, fish, cheese, bread, flowers and other seasonal specialities ensure a wide variety of produce – often organic and largely packaging-free. If a market day falls on a public holiday, the weekly market takes place the day before.
From mid-March to the end of November, the Farmers’ Delicacies Market takes place every 14 days, on Saturdays from 8.30 am to 11.00 am, in the Rathausarkaden in Gaming.
Local farms from the region offer a range of products including milk and cheese, meat and sausages, fish, eggs, seasonal fruit and vegetables, honey, bread and pastries, sweet treats, spreads and pickles, as well as juices, wine and other drinks.
