Whether it’s a quick stroll in between other activities, a leisurely family walk or a long hike through a wintry side valley: the winter walking trails in the Ybbstal Alps offer a variety of options for enjoying some lovely hours in the snow.

Around Lackenhof am Ötscher, several easy trails wind their way through the village of Ötscher and the surrounding winter landscape. In the Steinbachtal valley, a longer route follows the water’s course through a peaceful side valley from Göstling an der Ybbs. On the Leckermoos high plateau, a particularly atmospheric walk through the snow-covered moorland awaits.
