WAIDHOFEN AN DER YBBS

A fishing area close to the town, suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers.
The town fishing area extends for 2.5 km along the left bank, downstream from the Sattelgraben to the town weir. Permitted lures include spoons, flies and dead bait fish; species caught include brown trout, grayling and rainbow trout. 

- The season runs from 16 March to 31 October; with an annual licence, fishing is permitted until 31 December.
